Changes to WA Liquor Law Under Way

On Tuesday, 18 August 2015 the Bill to amend provisions of the Liquor Control Act 1988 was introduced into Parliament.

The Bill is the first stage of implementing changes to the liquor legislation that were recommended by the Liquor Review Committee and accepted by Government.                                       18/08/15

Cheers to the 2015 Rugby World Cup

In September 2015 England will be hosting the 2015 Rugby World Cup.  Whilst the matches will be televised live, due to the time difference in Western Australia, many of these will be broadcast late at night or early in the morning.

Licensees of liquor licensed premises who want to telecast the games at their venue outside of normal permitted trading times must make an application for an extended trading permit or a one-off variation to their licence to the Liquor Licensing Authority of Western Australia.          05/08/15

Lessons from the Subiaco Hotel
